Frau Wenk is a Hamburg-based communications consultancy and PR agency. Since 2008, the PR boutique around the founder Andrea Buzzi has been supporting tech companies and companies working in the field of digital economy from Europe and the USA regarding their external communication in economic and trade media as well as with digital influencers. "Frau Wenk" has successfully supported over 150 tech companies and founders based on digital business models, increasing their visibility and success. The agency is a specialist in content related to digital topics and publisher of CLUTCH, a lifestyle magazine for people in the digital world. By combining a high level of digital expertise with a passion for innovation, "Frau Wenk" moves the topic of disruptive PR forward.

The challenge: moving from traditional job advertisements to a more modern, multimedia approach for job applicants

Gone are the days of classic job advertisements. In order to convince potential applicants to join the agency as a "thought leader" offering a high level of digital expertise and a passion for innovation, the Hamburg-based PR boutique was challenged to come up with a more contemporary, multi-media approach to applicants.

The result: a digital recruitment magazine that speaks to potential candidates emotionally as well as informs them on an extensive basis. Individual job ads featured in the magazine are shared via the agency's social media channels and lead to further interaction with the target groups. Furthermore, they receive a lot of positive feedback for their innovative approach.

Besides the job advertisements, the elaborately and completely in-house developed magazine offers insights into the company's business areas, client portfolio and the media cosmos of "Frau Wenk". It also introduces readers to the team and the flexible working time arrangements. This happens via texts, videos and pictures which are regularly updated and expanded.

Frau Wenk Mockup

Innovative approach to job seekers, people willing to change their job and multipliers

The recruitment magazine "Enter New Work" is one of "Frau Wenk"'s first innovative content projects in this field and addresses job seekers, people looking to change jobs as well as multipliers. Therefore, it is used within recruiting campaigns as well as in the direct contact with applicants via various channels. Moreover, it is a new product that complements the PR agency's communication portfolio.

Articles created by "Frau Wenk" for digital communication with her target groups are issued via browser-based, responsive web formats published on a subdomain of "Frau Wenk". These single editions are realised by "Frau Wenk"s team on their own as required.

„Recruiting initiatives function at the same time as the company's 'business card' and should mirror the corporate identity accordingly. The many positive reactions indicate that we have touched a nerve with our innovative magazine. Among many companies there is a strong need to explore new and innovative paths, particularly in the field of recruitment. That's exactly where our new concept comes in.“
